How to Give Your Facebook Page a Short Address

If you have a Facebook page for your organization or business, it probably has a long address such as:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Business-Name/123456789012345

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a shorter page address? Such as:

Facebook.com/BusinessName

For some pages, at the time of their creation, you get an option to enter a short name, but for others you need to reach about 25 page likes (followers) before you can have a custom personalized address.

Here are the steps to creating a shorter address for your Facebook page.

  1. Click on Settings in the top right below the Recent Likes icon.

    • The ability to change the page to a short address may not appear if you don’t have enough followers to your page, or if the initial time period has passed for when they offer it.
