For some pages, at the time of their creation, you get an option to enter a short name, but for others you need to reach about 25 page likes (followers) before you can have a custom personalized address.
Here are the steps to creating a shorter address for your Facebook page.
- Click on Settings in the top right below the Recent Likes icon.
- Click on Page Info. As shown below, you’ll be informed that Page Info has moved.
- Click on the Visit About Tab link to reach the page settings panel. You can also reach this screen by going to About and Page Info.
- Click on Edit next to Facebook Web Address and then enter a preferred short Facebook address. If that address is available, you can have it.

The ability to change the page to a short address may not appear if you don’t have enough followers to your page, or if the initial time period has passed for when they offer it.
